An investigation is ongoing after a weekend stabbing in the Upstate. Greenville County Deputies were called to a residence on Gorman Place in Simpsonville, around 2 AM Saturday.
Gorman Place is located within the Ballantyne Commons apartment complex off Fairview Road in Simpsonville. The Sheriff's Office says, a man was found suffering from at least one stab wound, after a verbal altercation with the suspect. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
As of the time of this report, the Sheriff's Office said one person had been detained, however no arrests have been announced.
