The investigation continues following a shooting in the Upstate that left one person injured. The Gaffney Police Department responded to a reported shooting on West Carlisle Street, around 8:45 Monday night.
When they arrived officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower body. The victim was transported to an area hospital to be treated for his injuries. Investigators say, two handguns and about 20 shell casings were found near the scene.
No arrests have been announced in connection to the shooting and there's been no update on the victim's condition. The incident remains under investigation, anyone with information on the shooting is urged to contact the Gaffney Police Department.
