One Upstate police department has made two drug and weapons seizures in the last few days. The Pickens Police Department says, the first bust was made Saturday.
An officer saw a vehicle with an out of date tag. The driver led police on a brief chase, but eventually stopped. In a search of the vehicle, officers found over 200 grams of meth, heroin, cash and a gun. The suspect was charged with trafficking meth and heroin, failure to stop and a weapons violation.

The second seizure happened Monday when a vehicle was stopped for reported suspicious activity. A K-9 unit was brought in and alerted on the vehicle. A search discovered that the male suspect was in possession of a stolen gun and the female suspect possessed what was described as a, "trafficking weight" of meth.
All three suspects were booked into the Pickens County jail. The City police department did not reveal the names of the suspects arrested.
