A Richland County murder suspect was taken into custody Tuesday, hours after a press conference held by Sheriff Leon Lott.

23 year old Kesean Johnson was wanted for the shooting death of KoKayi Livingston - a domestic situation involving a current boyfriend. On February 15th, Johnson shot Livingston at an apartment complex, severely injuring him.

Before he could be taken in on attempted murder charges, Johnson returned to the apartment complex 10 days later, on February 25th, and fatally shot Livingston.

According to Richland County news outlets, Johnson turned himself in to the Sheriff's Department just hours after the news conference Tuesday, but not before Sheriff Lott shared the communities sentiment, "the community is sick and tired of people like Kesean Johnson, out here, that are just shooting guns and just doesn't care. Our community is fed up with that."
