
An out of state suspect has been charged in the theft of over a hundred thousand dollars worth of vehicles from an Upstate car dealership. The Oconee County Sheriff's Office has announced charges against an Alabama man in the late February theft of a Dodge Durango Hellcat and two other vehicles.

The incident occurred at Lake Keowee Chrysler Dodge in Seneca, a Ram Truck and a Dodge Charger were also stolen in the heist. The Ram Truck was found abandoned shortly after being stolen.
In early July, the Durango Hellcat was recovered by law enforcement in Birmingham, Alabama parking lot. 33 year old, Dexter Sherrod Pearce has been charged with 2nd Degree Burglary and Grand Larceny in connection to the heist.
He's currently incarcerated in Alabama on unrelated charges. The Sheriff's Office asks that anyone with information on the incident contact OconeeCrimeStoppers.Com
