A fugitive wanted on child sex crime charges hundreds of miles away, is now in custody in Western North Carolina. The Polk County Sheriff's Office says 29 year old, Timothy Meadows was arrested in the Mill Spring Community, Tuesday.
Meadows was wanted on warrants from New Jersey for 2nd degree sexual assault and criminal sexual conduct with a child. The warrants say the child was under the age of 13.
Meadows is being held in Polk County awaiting extradition to New Jersey.
