A major drug bust in the Upstate led to one arrest and the seizure of over 3 million dollars worth of narcotics. The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office says they were tipped off about a drug shipment that was coming in from a freight company. A K-9 Unit was used to locate a shipping container that was holding 28 kilos of meth.

Late last week, Narcotics Unit Deputies set up a controlled delivery of the package to a suspect. Once the drop was made officers detained the suspect, 25 year old Yajahira Sotelo Quiterio and executed a search warrant on her residence in Piedmont. The search turned up an additional 15 kilos of heroin, two kilo presses and 547 pressed blue pills.

The suspect's child was also at the home and was taken into protective custody. Quiterio faces charges for trafficking meth and heroin and unlawful neglect of a child. The Sheriff's Office says the street value of the drugs seized total 3.7 million dollars.
