More than a dozen men are facing charges after a online child predator sting in the Midlands. The Irmo Police Department and other agencies launched an online operation in April that has resulted in 14 suspects being arrested.
All of those men are charged with criminal solicitation of a minor with some facing other charges as well. Investigators say the suspects attempted to arrange sexual encounters with someone they thought was an underaged child.
The Irmo Police Department says more suspects are expected to be arrested, as the investigation continues.
