
A parole hearing date has been set for one of South Carolina's most infamous criminals. Susan Smith was convicted in 1994 of drowning her two children in a Union County lake.
Smith was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after serving 30 years. Smith is now eligible for parole and her hearing will be held November 20th. Smith is currently incarcerated in Greenwood.
Recently, she had her privileges revoked after violating policy by talking to a documentary filmmaker and providing contact info for her ex-husband and others.
