A pedestrian is dead after being hit by a car. The Highway Patrol says the crash happened on Geer Highway near Marietta around 1O:40 Friday night.
A driver was heading west and hit the pedestrian, who was in the roadway. The Pedestrian was flown to Prisma Health Greenville and later died from injuries suffered in the crash.
