Charges are expected to be upgraded against a driver arrested for leaving the scene when his car hit a pedestrian, just outside of Anderson last month.
The victim was critically injured and has now died. The Highway Patrol says 49-year-old Jason Kalley's Ford SUV struck the pedestrian walking along East Amity Road shortly after 10:30 PM on April 17th.
Kalley was arrested later and charged with leaving the scene of a collision with great bodily injury. The victim, whose identity is withheld for now, died Tuesday at AnMed Hospital.
