The Highway Patrol and Greenville County Coroner's office are investigating the death of a still-unidentified pedestrian hit by a car on Augusta Road, Wednesday night. Troopers say the victim was struck crossing Augusta near the intersection with McCullough School Road shortly before 9:00 PM. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
