A pedestrian is dead after a hit and run in the Upstate on Friday. The Greenville County Coroner's Office has identified the deceased as, 79 year old Beatrice Miller of Taylors. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Innovation Drive in Greenville.

Sergeant Jonathan Bragg of the Greenville Police Department said in a statement Friday night, that investigators have located the vehicle that left the scene. No charges have been filed as of the time of this report. The crash remains under investigation
