One person is dead following a weekend crash in the Upstate. Corporal Joe Hovis of the South Carolina Highway Patrol says, a pedestrian in the roadway was struck and killed by the driver of a 2020 Honda.
The collision happened Sunday night just after 8 PM on Poinsett Highway near Mulligan Street. The driver of the Honda was not injured. The pedestrian died at the scene. The name of the victim has not yet been released by the Greenville County Coroner's Office.
