UPDATE: Columbia, S.C. (March 25, 2025) - SCDOT has cancelled a drop-in public information meeting that was planned for Thursday, March 27 at Ambler Elementary School in Pickens County due to the ongoing wildfire at Table Rock State Park. SCDOT will reschedule the meeting and announce a new date.

The Department of Transportation will hold a drop-in public information meeting concerning the intersection of SC 11 (Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway) and South Saluda Road (S-113).
According to the Department's website, "The purpose of the project is to help reduce the frequency and severity of crashes occurring at [that] intersection,"
Right now, SCDOT is proposing a roundabout.
Community members are invited to attend the drop-in meeting Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Ambler Elementary School on Ambler School Road in Pickens from 5pm-7pm.
Department Officials will be on hand to discuss the project, although no formal presentation will be given. Public comment will be accepted online through April 12, 2025. Click HERE for more information.
