A Western North Carolina man is wanted after police say he impersonated an officer.
The Asheville Police Department says 22 year old, Rodrigo Barrera-Lozada is charged with two counts of impersonating a police officer. He also faces the same charge in Henderson County. Police have not released details on how the charges came about. Barrera-Lozada is known to carry a gun.
Earlier this month we reported Barrera-Lozada was arrested on February 3, 2026 by the Henderson County Sheriff's Office for operating blue lights to cause stop or yield the right of way.
