The search is on for the suspect in an Upstate bank robbery. The Greenwood Police Department says the Wells Fargo on Highway 345 in Greenwood was robbed just before 10AM Wednesday morning.
No injuries were reported in the incident. The suspect has now been identified as 50 year old, Charles Michael Edenfield. Police say that Edenfield had the teller a note demanding money and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect remained at large as of the time of this report, anyone with info on his whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1.
