A special GOP primary election will be held tomorrow (Tuesday) for the District 18 State House seat formerly held by Representative Tommy Stringer who resigned in January citing health reasons. The four Republican candidates are Dakota Fitzgerald, Keith Jones, Wyatt Miler and Alan Morgan.

District 18 encompasses the eastern side of Greenville County including parts of Taylors and Greer. Polls will be open from 7AM to 7PM. If no candidate receives a majority, the top two candidates will face each other in a run-off on April 5. The winner of the primary will be on the ballot for the special election on May 24. No other political party candidates have filed for the District 18 seat. Below is the video from the candidate debate that was held last Thursday.
