Prisma Health and United Healthcare have now come to a new agreement on insurance coverage. The two titans had parted ways for a period of time leaving many Upstate residents unable to receive covered care at Prisma owned facilities.
Prisma released a statement Friday afternoon saying that the new deal ensures that Prisma Hospitals will be in network with United Healthcare insurance plans.
The statement also says that the two sides reached an amicable agreement on reimbursement values that have now been adjusted for increased costs on Prisma's side.
