Prisma Health held a virtual forum Thursday to provide an update, as covid cases continue to rise due to the emergence of the Omicron variant. Dr. Robin Lacroix, the Medical Director of Prisma’s Childrens Hospital in Greenville gave an update on cases among children statewide. Dr. Lacroix talked about vaccinations for children and encourages parents to have kids vaccinated. She would speak on transmission rates in the Upstate and more, hear her comments at length below.
