While some races flipped blue including the highly anticipated Senate race between Andrews and Graham, the red wave continues to wash over most of the Upstate. Three seats in the U.S. House from the area were on the ballot including the 3rd, 4th and 5th Districts, all traditional Republican strongholds in the area.
In the 4th District Incumbent and now stalwart William Timmons was re-elected. In the 3rd District Sheri Biggs won her 1st bid for re-election garnering over 60% of the vote.
In the 5th District, it'll be new blood as Republican Wes Climer got over 52% of the vote to hold off Democrat Mallory Dittmer.
Climer was endorsed by outgoing 5th District Congressman Ralph Norman, who decided not to run for re-election for that seat and instead focused on campaigns that came up shorts in the primary races for both Governor and the U.S. Senate seat.
