The human remains found near a major Upstate highway on Tuesday, have been identified as a man who has been missing since 2017. David Wayne Oakley, was reported missing in June of 2017, when his vehicle was found on I-85 in Anderson County. On Tuesday, his remains were found by SCDOT crews, about a mile from where his car was located. The Anderson County Coroner says there are no signs of foul play in Oakley's death.
