A military combat veteran was honored as his remains were shipped to the Upstate. On Friday, the remains of Korean War vet Albert A. Gosnell arrived at GSP airport.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol provided an escort and the Patriot Riders group participated in the procession along I-85 to Whitehorse Road. Several Upstate fire departments stationed trucks on bridges along the route.
Today marks Gosnell's homecoming more than 70 years after he left to serve in the war.
