Reports have surfaced that seemingly identity a professor at an Upstate University, who's under fire for his alleged ties to white supremacy groups. Five years after a rally in Charlottesville, Virginia involving white supremacist organizations left a counter protestor dead and dozens more injured, a group called "Sunlight AFA" is still trying to identify those involved in the rally.

The group says, they have received information that Furman professor Chris Healy was at the rally. Photos and videos were captured that reportedly show Healy among white supremacy groups at the rally. Healy has been employed as a professor at Furman for over two decades.

Furman President Elizabeth Davis sent an email to employees last Friday that said, a faculty member was being investigated for allegedly being at the rally and involvement with white supremacist organizations. The email did not name the specific professor, but did say they would not be on campus or teaching during the investigation. Healy did not answer calls or return voicemails that I left on his Furman phone extension.
