Rock Hill man arrested after theft at Oconee car dealership

A Rock Hill man is in custody after a two vehicles were stolen from an Oconee County car dealership, earlier this year. 22 year old, Xavier Ja'Colby Grase was extradited to Oconee County after being arrested in York County.

Grase is accused of breaking into Edwards Auto Sales in Walhalla, in the early morning hours of May 17th. Two vehicles were stolen from the dealership, a Dodge Charger Hellcat worth over $90,000 and a Dodge Durango valued at nearly $50,000.


Investigators were later notified that both vehicle were recovered in Charlotte. Authorities in Oconee County believe Grase was working with two partners in the dealership theft. However, thus far no other arrests in the case have been announced.

Grase is charged with grand larceny, 2nd degree burglary and possession of implements used in the break-in.
