The search is on for a suspect vehicle involved in two hit and run crashes in the Upstate. The South Carolina Highway Patrol says, the crash happened on I-85 in Anderson County, just before 5:45 yesterday evening.
Troopers report that a Ford Escape crashed into a Hyundai Sedan and then collided with a transfer truck, but did not stop. The Ford Escape then led authorities on a chase down I-85 towards Greenville, but the chase was called off due to heavy traffic.
One person was injured in the crash and was transported to the hospital. The suspect driver remained at large, as of the time of this report.
