The search of a storage unit resulted in a major drug bust in the Upstate, last month. The Pickens County Sheriff's Office began a drug trafficking investigation in early December and witnessed a suspect making trips to a storage unit.
The suspect was later found with over 20 pounds of meth. Deputies then searched the storage unit and found more than 85 additional pounds of meth inside.
9 people were arrested in the raid. They all face charges of conspiracy to distribute meth and most face charges of distribution or possession with intent to distribute. One suspect also was charged with a weapons violation.
