Even though it happened over 4 decades ago there's recently been information that has emerged that comes as a revelation regarding a U.S. Senate candidate from the Upstate. Greenville Businessman Mark Lynch who is challenging Lindsey Graham in the June Primary. He joined Straight Talk with Bill Frady Wednesday afternoon to speak on his 1984 arrest for cocaine trafficking.
Lynch says he pleaded guilty to the charge and was given probation. He paid fines and also went to a drug rehab program. Following that arrest, Lynch says he got involved with helping minister to those with addiction issues at local recovery centers. He also revealed that he met his wife while in recovery from addiction.
