Shooting suspect extradited back to North Carolina

The suspect accused of shooting and injuring multiple people, including a child and her parents has been extradited back to North Carolina to face charges.

As we previously reported, 24 year old Robert Louis Singletary is accused of firing shots outside his home near Gastonia, NC on April 18th. Three people were injured and a fourth person was shot at.

6 year old, Kinsley White and her father William White were hit and hospitalized due to their injuries. The child's mother Ashley Hildebrandt was grazed in the incident.

Singletary fled North Carolina after the shooting. He turned himself in two days later at the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office in Tampa, Florida.

The Gaston County Police Department says, Singletary was extradited back to North Carolina on Sunday night. He's being held without bond in Gaston County on four counts of attempted murder. Singletary is expected to appear in a North Carolina courtroom for the 1st time on Tuesday.
