An Anderson man booked for attempted homicide now faces trial for murder. The victim, identified as 47-year-old Reginald Lamont Boggs, was shot several times and wounded the coroner says, during a gang fight on East Shockley Ferry Road Monday afternoon.
Boggs died late Thursday in AnMed's intensive care unit. 20-year-old Brian Beatty-Martin was arrested at the scene Monday. He's expected to be arraigned on a murder charge.
The Anderson County Sheriff's Office says two others have been arrested in the case. 43 year old Sherri Moss is now in custody in Anderson County and a 16 year old boy has also been charged and is in custody at the DJJ facility in Columbia.
