Shot Fired During Mauldin Road Rage Incident - Two Charged

Two have been charged in a Mauldin Road Rage incident Wednesday, that sent one man to the hospital after he was shot.

The incident started in the Piedmont area when Authorities said Csaba Szabo of Greenville was allegedly driving erratically and tailgating John Robison of Piedmont.

The episode continued into Mauldin when Szabo, in a pickup truck, slammed on his brakes in front of Robison, in a Tesla, causing a rear-end crash on Butler Road.

Szaba was allegedly walking toward the Tesla when Robison fired a shot and hit Szaba in the right shoulder.

Robison is currently in the Greenville County Detention Center charged with attempted murder. Szaba was charged with reckless driving and according to Mauldin Officials, his injuries are said to be non-life threatening.

A possbile road rage incident Wednesday morning in Mauldin sent one man to the hospital after he was shot....

City of Mauldin Officials said a shooting happened on Butler Road near Watley Circle around 11:30am. The injured man, whose name has not been released, was transported to the hospital. No word on his condition.  City Officials said the suspect is in custody and there is no danger to the public.
