The tragic death of an Upstate Deputy earlier this week made me start thinking about today's topic. Spartanburg County Deputy Austin Aldridge was shot in the line of duty and died hours later. The suspect Duane Herd was arrested and has been charged with his murder. That brought me to the thought for today's topic. I know there are some people who do not believe in the death penalty. I am a supporter of the death penalty and I also believe that death sentences should be carried out more quickly than they usually are. That brought me to the thought, should it be an automatic death sentence in South Carolina, when a cop is murdered by a suspect? Let us know, below.
