Constitutional Carry is defined as state's allowing guns to be carried without a permit, by those eligible to have guns. Currently, South Carolina is not a state that has adopted that policy. The Palmetto State still requires those who carry to have a permit. There are 25 states that have adopted Constitutional Carry. Many Southern states have adopted it, including Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Texas. The Southern states that don't have Constitutional Carry are North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Virginia and Louisiana. Midwestern states like Oklahoma, Kansas, Indiana, Ohio, Iowa and the Dakota's all have the policy in place as well. I was living and working in Oklahoma when they passed and adopted the bill.
