A sign at a restaurant in South Georgia has caused a stir on social media and brought about controversy. The Subway in Rincon, Georgia about 20 miles Northwest of Savannah recently posted a message on their outside sign that read " Our Subs Don't Implode".

The phrase seemingly a reference to the Titan submersible mission that left five people dead. WTOC-TV in Savannah reports that many locals told them, they thought the sign was done in poor taste.

The sign prompted a thread on Redditt which got thousands of comments, with many online saying they feel it's too soon for jokes about the Titan tragedy.

The store manager says the sign has since been taken down, no further comment has been issued from store management or Subway corporate.
