A former law enforcement officer in the Midlands is charged with voyeurism, after an incident earlier this year. SLED says, former Newberry County Deputy Shawn Ray Carnes was taken into custody Wednesday.
Investigators say, Carnes took a photo of woman who using the bathroom at the downtown fitness center, February 23rd. Carnes allegedly took the photo through a hole in the office wall that is adjacent to the women's restroom.
