Two from the Upstate are facing charges after a hit and run that happened during a chase with law enforcement. The incident happened in Pickens County in early January.
Arrest warrants say, 42 year old George Devale McMullen was driving a Cadillac Escalade and hit a truck while running from law enforcement. He then reportedly ran on foot. SLED reports that McMullen was then picked up by 35 year old, Cosha Mary Anne Benson.
They both were arrested last week. McMullen is charged with two counts of hit and run. Benson is charged with accessory to driving under suspension, driving an uninsured vehicle and a license plate violation.
