An investigation is ongoing after the death of an infant in the Upstate, over the weekend. The Pickens County Coroner's Office responded to a home on Hummingbird Lane in Easley around 4:30 AM, Sunday.
The Coroner's Office said initially there were no signs of foul play or suspicious activity. The cause of the child's death is still being determined.
SLED and the Pickens County Sheriff's Office are investigating the incident. No further details have been released, as of this time.
