Additional charges have been filed against an Upstate teenager accused of leading deputies on a chase and shooting at them, earlier this month.

SLED says, that 17 year old Timmothy Scott is now charged with attempted murder, shooting into a vehicle, hit and run, failure to stop, multiple weapons violations and a list of other charges.

Scott had already been charged with two counts of attempted murder. The charges come after the Anderson County Sheriff's Office says, Scott led deputies on a chase that stretched into Greenville County and fired shots at them on August 17th.

At one point in the chase, Scott drove into a ditch and fired shots, striking a deputy's patrol vehicle. The chase finally came to an end in Downtown Greenville. Scott allegedly shot at deputies when they initially tried to take him into custody.

No deputies were hurt in either of the shooting incidents. Scott is currently still in custody at the Greenville County Detention Center.
