The sins of the son lead to the death of his father in Western North Carolina. The Yancey County Sheriff's Office responded to the area of Ferguson Hill near Burnsville, Tuesday.
Investigators determined that John Claude Charlton killed his father Virgil Charlton. The 21 year old is charged with murder. He's being held without bond in Yancey County.
