
The results of Tuesday's special elections around the Upstate are in. Four towns in Spartanburg County held elections to fill seats on their respective city councils.

The Lyman town council race was the most contested of the four, with Phil Mcintyre taking the seat with 39% of the vote, Jack Bellaire was 2nd with 34% and Brorick Hellams garnering 26%. In Chesnee, write in candidate Ronnie Crawford got 70% of the vote over Chaz Price. Wade Peeler ran unopposed to win the seat in Campobello. James Richard picked up 72% of the vote in Reidville to take the seat over Barry Duckworth.
