Applications for FEMA assistance, due to Hurricane Helene damage, has been extended in Spartanburg County.
On November 15, 2024, Spartanburg County Emergency Services reported the FEMA Disaster Recovery Center, located at 175 Community College Drive, has been extended to December 6, 2024.
Those who suffered damage from Hurricane Helene and would like to apply for financial assistance, can visit the DRC on the campus of Spartanburg Community College, Monday through Saturday from 8am to 7pm through December 6, 2024. The center will be closed for Thanksgiving November 28-29, 2024.
