Two people were arrested over the weekend after excessive speeding led to a traffic stop. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office says a vehicle was clocked doing 125 miles per hour on I-385. A traffic stop was conducted and arrested the driver for excessive speeding.
Deputies then were notified that the passenger had an outstanding warrant from Orangeburg County. Investigators say the passenger also was found with meth, a gun and drug paraphernalia
. Both were taken into custody and were booked at the Greenville County Detention Center. The Sheriff's Office has not released the identity of either suspect.
