An investigation is ongoing after a stabbing Wednesday afternoon in Downtown Asheville. Police there were patrolling the area of Patton Avenue when they saw a man with a knife sticking out of his hand.
The suspect had already fled the scene. The victim was transported to the hospital where he remains in critical condition. The incident remains under investigation.
