An effort by lawmakers in Columbia has advanced in the House that proposes to consolidate power over state health care mandates by giving a so-called Health Czar authority to use law enforcement to enforce regulations.
District 38 Representative Josiah Magnuson, a Freedom Caucus member, introduced an amendment that would remove that power and joined the Tara Show Thursday to discuss the issue. The proposed amendment was defeated. The legislation now goes to the Senate.
