A State Representative from the Upstate is accused of over 100 ethics violations. A State House Committee claims Republican Representative Jonathan Hill of Townville, failed to deposit political contributions into a campaign bank account.
The Committee claims Hill used campaign finances to pay the mortgage on a personal home. Although, an exact date hasn't been announced yet, Hill is set to face a formal public hearing on those accusations sometime in the next 30 days. When reached for comment Hill directed all questions to his lawyer, Tom Fernandez.
