This year marks 24 years since the attacks on the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and Flight 93. Though the scars remain, each year we unite to honor the heroes of 9/11.

The Greenville City Firefighters Memorial Stair Climb takes place this Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Flour Field. Participants will climb the equivalent of 110 stories — the height of the World Trade Center — in tribute to the 343 fallen firefighters. Proceeds benefit the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

The mission of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation is to honor America's fallen fire heroes; support their families, colleagues, and organizations; and work to reduce preventable firefighter death and injury.

On Sunday, September 7, 2025, Flour Field also hosts the 2025 Heroes Softball Game, featuring Greenville Police vs. Firefighters, benefiting Shriners Children's Hospital of Greenville.

The City of Greenville invites families to "Enjoy an afternoon of family fun, starting at 2 p.m. outside the stadium at District 356, including a chance for your children to meet police and fire heroes in person, tour First Responder vehicles and enjoy inflatable games, face painters and balloon artists!"

Admission to the game is $5. Donations to support your "team" can also be made by clicking HERE.
