Tuesday marked the 1st day back in class for students following a deadly shooting at a North Georgia high school.

For the 1st time since the tragic and fatal shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder earlier this month, students returned Tuesday morning. The plan is to hold classes on a half-day schedule through October 4th. Full class days are set to resume October 14th.

There's been a large response in support of the school community from around the nation. Actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson had the school's football team out to visit him while he was filming in Atlanta.

Also, there's been tremendous local support. Apalachee Alumnus turned pro wrestling star Hunter James and some of Georgia's other top local talents held a wrestling show, this Past Sunday to benefit families affected by the shooting.
