Surprising that managers shy away from hiring recent college grads?

A recent survey of more than 750 hiring managers by Intelligent.com found nearly 40% have avoided hiring a recent college graduate in favor of older candidates. Just less than half of the managers surveyed said that they have had to fire a recent college graduate. 58% say recent graduates are simply unprepared for the workforce.
