An Upstate man is in custody after he allegedly stabbed one of his neighbors. Deputies responded to a reported stabbing Sunday morning at a home in the Cheohee (Choy) Valley community in Northern Oconee County.
The victim said he heard knocking at his door. When he went to the door, the suspect came in and began assaulting him with a knife. The victim was taken to an area hospital to be treated for cuts on his face.
The suspect, 41 year old Jarvis Evan Bugg was arrested Sunday evening, after he originally left the scene. He faces charges of 1st degree burglary and aggravated assault.
