The suspect, 34 year old Devon Christopher Pawlus of Westfield, Ohio had already fled the scene on the forklift. Shortly after, the forklift was spotted heading southbound on I-385. Police tried pulling the forklift over, but the driver refused to stop. He finally came to a stop in the parking of the Target store off of Harrison Bridge Road.

Police say, Pawlus was extremely intoxicated and told them he only borrowed the machine, because the keys were in it. He's charged with Grand Larceny, Strong Armed Robbery and Public Intoxication.
